In memory of Alex Flynn we are holding a Challenge Day for anyone tough enough to give it a go. Alex was an intrepid explorer and despite living with Parkinsons, pushed himself and set aspiring goals to raise money and awareness around the challenges he and others with Parkinsons, face on a daily basis.
There are 4 parts to the challenge:
- Heave Ho
Best Deadlift Max weight, 3 attempts
- Muscle Medley
Most single arm presses in 90 seconds
- Ladies – 90 seconds to press an 8 followed by a 12, followed by a 16, followed by an 18 with bonus points for any lady that can press a 20.
- Gentlemen – 90 seconds to press a 24, 28, 32, 36 bell. Bonus points for anyone who can press the 40.
- Swing To Win
As many single arm swings in 5 minutes
- Ladies – 16kg
- Gentlemen – 28kg
- Hold Fast
Hold two bells equivalent to you body weight for as long as you can
- The Gotcha (it’s a secret!)
