Group Personal Training.

We run group personal training sessions that focus on 3 pieces of kit; the kettlebell, the barbell and your own body weight. We focus on strength and movement. Our class sizes are small – no more than 8 people at a time, meaning you get the training and support you need from our coaches and the people you train with.

The Engine House is a very supportive and friendly gym where the trainers support you to reach your goals, whatever your state of fitness or age. It’s a very inclusive and unintimidating place. The social side and camaraderie of the group training sessions is brilliant. And the expertise of the trainers!

The kettlebell.

Provides strength, power, muscle building, endurance and many more benefits considering it’s simplicity. But learning to use it correctly and safely requires the correct training. We can show you how to get the most out of this handled ball of metal.

The barbell.

Learn how to master the barbell and the four main barbell lifts – the Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press and Military Press to increase your movement, posture, bone strength and confidence. The barbell works your whole body in one go.

Body weight.

Use what you have to increase your fitness and strength and learn about how your body works as a whole. We teach a whole variety of body weight exercises to help you increase your flexibility and movement allowing you to boost your training ability.
