Biggest Loser Challenge

Back at the beginning of the 2023, we invited our intrepid gym goers to enter our Biggest Loser Challenge – an 8 week programme to kick start their new year goals and set them on the path of sustainable change to make habits that should last a lifetime. The prize? An ENTIRE YEAR of gym membership for FREE worth £780, so definitely not something to be sniffed at!

Each challenger was set bespoke training programme tailored to what ever goal they wanted to achieve – weight loss, strength, endurance, regular training habits, confidence building – anything they wanted to aspire to. We also set up a community app to keep the comradery going and allow the challengers to support each other and keep the fires burning.

The criteria to win was based on several factors

• Attendance to training sessions
• Demonstrable change in attitude
• Knowledge and skills gained, applied and practiced
• Before and after photos
• Supporting fellow competitors
• Percentage of weight lost compared to start weight
• Extra curricular activities supporting their journey

13 competitors took part, and boy oh boy was it a tough job deciding who the overall winner would be – everyone made a stonking effort. If we were to quantify it, it’d add up to a massive 74KG of weight loss between them all!

However, only one person could win the grand prize, and that was Ben! Scoring highly on all the judging criteria and shedding himself of 10KG in total, Ben truly demonstrated what determination and consistency can do – and we just know he’s going to keep the momentum and smash his new goals.

Whilst Ben may have stolen the spotlight as winner, we must also make mention of those he pipped to the post – Annie B, Billy H, Sharon H, Clare H & Suzie D. They all gave Ben a good run for his money, that’s for sure! They’ll all receive a custom challenge t-shirt – nice!!
