Quentin Bevan.
Quentin is a Kettlebell and Barbell specialist who is very proud of being a StrongFirst certified instructor. He believes that making people stronger is the key to healthier body and mind.
Using the StrongFirst principles combined with over 15 years Personal Training experience, Quentin achieves significant and sustainable results with his students.
Delivering both one to one and group sessions in the Wantage (Oxfordshire) area Quentin has built a reputation as both a personable and effective trainer.

Jon Benn.
Jon, as he’ll happily tell you, is very good with a barbell. He’s not wrong, either. As a strength and skills specialist, he knows how this simple piece of kit works, how to use it well and what makes it one of the most efficient pieces of equipment in the gym because of the benefits anyone looking to improve their fitness, strength and mobility can acheive through using it correctly. That’s want makes the barbell special.
Through his unassuming style of teaching barbell technique and progression, Jon has helped many of our gym members achieve their lifting goals above and beyond what they’d hoped for. In fact, Jon is the proof in the pudding that it’s never too late to try something new and get good at it. This retired businessman now certified StrongFirst instructor won’t mind us saying he’s tipped the hat to 60 years on this planet and he’s as strong as an ox.

James Lloyd.
James has been a personal trainer since 2013 and loves helping people to achieve their goals. James is always striving to advance his knowledge, so he can develop as a trainer and support his clients in the best possible way. James has been proving small group and 121 personal tuition at the Engine House Gym for the last 5 years and James is a successful and popular member of the team.
James started his Strongfirst journey with his first certification in 2014, and this really opened his eyes to the minimalistic yet effective use of kettlebell training and how this can benefit his clients.

Mandy Hayle.
Strongwoman Specialist
Mandy focuses on strength training using the strongman/woman discipline, competing in strongwoman competitions.
She is passionate about using strength training for both physical health and mental well-being.
Mandy is a director of the strength club A Son of Anxiety C.I.C which was founded by Dan Fish.

Claire Booth.
Strong First Guest Trainer
Having enjoyed a successful bodybuilding career since 1997, Bodyology director Claire has won over 20 titles including Miss Great Britain, Miss UK, Miss Wales & Miss International. She has also competed internationally, placing 3rd in the world.
Claire is a StrongFirst Team Leader & travels the world coaching. She runs workshops & courses all around the UK, coaching fitness professionals & teaching people to move better, feel better & look better.
Claire educates clients about exercise & nutrition so that they may make an informed decision to move towards their goals. She also takes into consideration the clients lifestyle, including work & family commitments keeping the workouts simple, easy to follow yet extremely effective.
After winning the UKBFF West Midlands 2010 Body Fitness title, Claire decided to retire from competition & dedicate her time helping others achieve their best ever results without sacrificing their health.

Steve also has a rich understanding and experience of teaching guided visualization meditation, the emphasis of which is to enter the deep mind and flow state.
